About CAPP

Who We Are

Coordination of Assistance from People to People

The Coordination of Assistance from People to People (CAPP) is a nationally registered, non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2013 in Afghanistan. Our mandate is to safeguard vulnerable communities and promote sustainable development by improving access to essential services in health, nutrition, education, livelihoods, and social protection. Guided by the principle of “Safeguarding Communities in Need,” CAPP works to strengthen community resilience, empower local structures, and ensure that life-saving services reach those most affected by conflict, poverty, and natural disasters.

Our Mission

Our mission is to deliver community-driven and people-centred solutions that improve the well-being of mothers, newborns, children, and other vulnerable groups. We achieve this by enhancing access to healthcare, promoting good nutrition, expanding education opportunities, supporting sustainable livelihoods, and strengthening local governance systems.

CAPP actively seeks to collaborate with United Nations agencies, international organizations, and global development partners to design and implement programmes that respond to local needs while contributing to broader humanitarian and development objectives. Over the past decade, we have partnered with organizations such as UNICEF, UNDP, USAID, Handicap International, Counterpart International, and others, demonstrating our ability to deliver impactful interventions and align with the priorities of the international community.
